Ann Meredith U. Garcia-Trinidad, MD


Dr. Garcia-Trinidad finished her Medical Oncology fellowship training at the University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital, accompanied by a Master’s Degree in Clinical Medicine (Major in Medical Oncology). She ranked first in the Philippine Specialty Board of Medical Oncology Diplomate Examination in 2016. She is a healthcare social media advocate and has written several articles for various publications and social media platforms. She is currently an Advisory Panelist of the ASCO Cancer.Net Editorial Board and maintains her Facebook-based patient education social media page, Cancer Answers PH. Her expressiveness on cancer advocacy campaigns made her Ambassador of Hope From Within Game Plan PH where she serves as an influential voice for patients in promoting cancer awareness. She also serves as Chair of the Multimedia Committee of the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology. She is one of the outstanding graduates of the inaugural European Society of Medical Oncology’s (ESMO) Leaders Generation Programme in Asia in 2019 and is presently a member of the ESMO Membership Committee. In 2020, she was awarded an International Development and Education Award (IDEA) from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). At present, she is the Head of the Section of Medical Oncology of Dagupan Doctors’ Villaflor Memorial Hospital. She has special interests in head and neck, breast, colorectal, and gynecologic cancers.
