Dr. Ramos finished his Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Training at Lung Cancer of the Philippines and has served as Chief Fellow in 1992. He further trained in Cardiothoracic Transplantation at Stanford University Medical Center in 2001. He is the Past President of the Philippine Association of Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgeons and Philippine Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, Past Chairman of the Philippine Board of Thoracic and Cardiac and Vascular Surgery, Past Training Officer of the TCVS Training Consortium, and an active Committee Member of the Philippine College of Surgeons. He is also the previous Section Head of Thoracic Surgery at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City and has been an Assistant Professor of the Department of Surgery, St. Luke’s College of Medicine. He is currently the Manager of Finance, Administrative, and Ancillary Departments of Lung Center of the Philippines and an active Thoracic Surgery Consultant at Lung Center of the Philippines, De Los Santos-STI Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, and Makati Medical Center.
