Guiseppe Curigliano, MD
Dr. Giuseppe Curigliano graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in his science and medical degrees. He is presently the Director of the Division of New Drugs Development for Innovative Therapies at the European Institute of Oncology. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Clinical and Research Program on Breast Cancer and the Program on Urogenital Cancer. He is dynamically involved in clinical trials on treatments in metastatic breast cancer and solid tumors. He is the reference of many translational studies on breast cancer. In 2013, he was the Educational Chair of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) for the Task of metastatic breast cancer, reference person for breast cancer of the European School of Oncology. He is part of the faculty for breast cancer at the ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) and ESTRO (European Society of Radiation Oncology). He now heads the Guidelines Committee of the European Society of Medical Oncology. He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacology of the University of Milan and holds teaching and training tutoring for undergraduates and postgraduates in Oncology at national and international universities.
